THE ESTATE
Step into the world of truffles at the Domaine de Cordis in Grignan, in the heart of the beautiful Drôme Provençale.
Here, Carole and Didier welcome you in a warm, family atmosphere where nature and truffle-growing truly go hand in hand.
At the Domaine, you’ll learn everything about truffles — from the tree to the harvest — including dog-led truffle hunting, cultivation principles, field techniques, and the manual or mechanical tools used to care for a truffle orchard.
GROUP VISITS

TRUFFLE DISCOVERY PACKAGE:
• Presentation and/or short film on truffle growing: soil care, pruning, cultivation methods…
• Truffle hunting (with a trained dog) on our plots next to the estate, with on-site demonstrations
• Tasting session
Practical information
Store open during the season (December to February): weekends 10am–12pm and 3pm–6pm.
Recommended clothing: warm/rain-proof clothes, hiking shoes or outdoor-friendly sneakers.

On-site purchases available (with reservation): fresh truffles, truffle products without added aromas, truffle oaks…

Didier and Carole welcome you into a dedicated part of the estate, fully restored and classified as a Heritage Site (12 years of renovation).

Our rooms are available for guests seeking a full immersion in the world of truffles: learning the craft, exploring truffle growing, and experiencing life in the Drôme Provençale countryside.
During your stay, the Domaine de Cordis is entirely dedicated to you.
Carole and Didier share their knowledge of truffle growing: caring for truffle orchards, tools and techniques, dog handling, cleaning, sorting, and preserving fresh truffles.
If you want to deepen your passion for black truffle, your hosts — both growers and enthusiasts — are happy to exchange with you and share their unique expertise.
You will judge the truffles yourself, tasting the finest varieties in a friendly atmosphere.
